about
An improvised, off the cusp dedication to decay, and eventual rebirth and recycling. Recorded in 4 movements on the first guitar I ever owned with a phone mic, tuned to A standard. Through each movement, mesh screens are intertwined into specific sets of strings, only encompassing 3 strings at a time. The end of the piece features 3 mesh screens that encompass all of the strings, which inevitably fall out of place due to increasingly dynamic strumming. The intermittent sitar heard throughout the piece was recorded as a separate layer after the guitar.
